Studio 18" Crash
Dark & low full & strong with lots of dynamics.
The Studio cymbals are very interesting, visually and sonically. The outer 2" circle of the top of the cymbal is deeply hammered, unlathed & left raw. This hammering process allows the sound of the cymbals to open more slowly when struck, producing a more defined note with controlled sustain. The remainder of the top surface is lathed & polished to a brilliant finish. The bell is raw with no visible hammer marks. The bottom of the Studio cymbals are lathed and brilliant throughout.
